Mary and the Lamb

(John McGie/Carl Craig)

One time when I inadvertently played an audio tape back at the wrong speed my daughter, who was six at the time, informed me that the voice on the tape was Jordan the Ant. And, thus, Jordan the Ant was born.
MARY AND THE LAMB

Mary had a lamb
That she made out of spam
And some toast and cherry tea
It followed her to school
Which broke all the rules
So they took her into custody
Woh ho, who ho

Mary and the lamb
Ended up in the slammer
With a cow and the Man in the Moon
They made a plan
To take it on the lam
Right after they all had a snooze
Woh ho, woh ho

Mary and the lamb
With the cow and the Man
Dug a hole right there in the floor
It was late at night
When they jumped out of sight
And the judge walked through the door
Woh ho, woh ho

Mary and the lamb
Mary on the lam
Woh ho

Mary and the lamb
And the rest of the band
Went into the underground
They held their breath
As the judge ran past
And they were almost found
Woh ho, woh ho

Mary and the lamb
And the rest all began
To make a break for the daylight
But they all got caught
'Cause they all forgot
The Moon only comes out at night
Woh ho, woh ho

Mary and the lamb
Before the judge did stand
As he told them what to do
He sent the lamb to college
For sheep and sausage
And he sent Mary back to school
Woh ho, woh ho

Mary and the lamb
Mary on the lam
Woh ho
